June Prayer Intention

For Healing in the Church 

Lord Jesus Christ, you are among us as redeemer.  Your church is suffering from the sins and irresponsibility's of the past.  We pray, Lord, for any who have been abused, mistreated, offended or minimized through the actions or words of clergy or laity.  Lord Jesus, please bring healing and reconciliation to your church.  So that we might be your redeemed and forgiven people who witness, not to our sinfulness, but to your greatness.   

Mathew 5 23-24     Mark 9: 28-29  Acts 13 38-39

Ephesians 1: 7-8  James 5: 16 1 John 1: 9-10

Ask for forgiveness from someone you know you have hurt.

Look at the crucifix and see in the death of Jesus the sins of the church that still crucify him.

Pray for victims of abuse and discrimination.

Pray for priests and bishops that they be holy ministers of God. 

Make some sacrifice in atonement for the sins of abuse in the Church and throughout our nation.
